Prayer and Posture

Scripture describes the prophets, apostles, and even Jesus as kneeling, standing, lifting hands, and bowing low, in prayer. While posture isn’t the emphasis in Scripture’s teaching on prayer, it is the example of God’s people and his Son. Prayer and Posture is an encouragement to consider the value of posture in prayer, and to use it as a means of expressing and exciting the affections of our heart.
